Purpose of CPCN Course

Certification Program on Child Health & Nutrition (CPCN)is an Online Educational Short Certification course initiative offered by Daffodil International University. This e-learning course is supported by the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences in collaboration with the Public Health Department. CPCN offers an e-learning certification course with the aim of building expertise and enhancing knowledge in child health and nutrition sciences. In collaboration with national experts including DIU physician and Nutritionist provide updated health science information, acquaintances, and national recommendations on child health for Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and Rural Medical Practitioners (RMPs) to disseminate more information in their day-to-day practice. This CPCN online educational certification course has been established with ethical considerations by the committed team from Daffodil International University, which includes the Public Health Department, Nutrition and Food Engineering Department, Student Affairs Section, Media Lab, Communications Team, Mother and Children Experts, and DIU Web Section. The curriculum comprises 02 sessions with 06 modules (03 modules per session). Each session is designed to deliver basic knowledge and learning on child health and nutrition sciences. The certification training course will cover selected topics, including Childhood Development for The first 1000 days, Breastfeeding and its benefits, Breastfeeding techniques, Newborn care practices, Nutritional requirements at different stages of children, Comprehensive child health care, Balancing diet in childhood malnutrition and its impact, right Complimentary feeding, importance of Micronutrients in child health development and mental Wellbeing, Nutritional needs and practices for Infants and Toddlers, Childhood health challenges and illnesses, preventive health measures for children in Diarrhea.
